It's not up to date much, but it looks like someone has taken over. So it may have some merit going forward. However, the website cost is $1000/year to maintain it according to the budget. Ouch! and now... it looks like they lowered this cost as well. yay!
This site is also not associated with other social networks such as Facebook/Twitter/Nextdoor. However, it appears that most communications are done through Nextdoor and a newsletter, which offers a little more of a private social network. Social networks sites are still used by others of their own accord.
